Residential buildings, educational institution damaged in Russia’s shelling of Mykolaiv region
Russian forces shelled communities in Mykolaiv region, damaging residential buildings, a power line and an educational institution.
This was reported by the press service of the regional state administration on Facebook, according to Ukrinform.
"Yesterday, October 23, at 12:00, 15:30, 18:00 and 20:00, the Shyroke community was shelled, one house was destroyed and three were damaged. Today, October 24, at 03:40, shelling of the Bashtanka community was recorded - power lines, three private houses, and an educational institution were damaged. There are no casualties," the report says.
In addition, on October 24, at 05:30, the Shevchenkove community was shelled - a car and a non-residential building were damaged.
According to the Operational Command South, on October 23, the enemy used mortars to strike a coastal area of the Ochakiv community. No casualties were reported.
Shelling of the territory and nearby settlements of the Bereznehuvate and Inhulka communities continues. Information on victims and damage is being clarified.
As reported, on the night of October 23, Mykolaiv was fired upon with S-300 missiles. As a result of the shelling, two apartment blocks were destroyed, five people were injured.
