Russians strike Kupyansk with S-300 missiles
The Russian armed forces struck Kupyansk, Kharkiv region, with S-300 missiles.
“Under the procedural guidance of the Kupyansk district prosecutor's office of Kharkiv region, a pre-trial investigation has been launched over the violation of the laws and customs of war (Part 1 of Art. 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine),” the Prosecutor General's Office posted on Telegram.
According to the investigation files, on the morning of October 24, representatives of the Russian Federation launched a missile attack on Kupyansk, disregarding the norms of international humanitarian law. An administrative building was partially destroyed.
According to preliminary information, the enemy fired S-300 missiles at the town.
The prosecutors and police investigators collected fragments of missiles and other evidence while inspecting the scene.
As reported, the enemy hit Vovchansk town and the settlements of Chuhuiv and Kupyansk districts of Kharkiv region over the past day, October 23.
