Several enemy attacks repelled in southern Ukraine, 26 invaders eliminated

Over the past day, the missile and artillery units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine have completed 217 fire missions. Twenty-six Russian invaders were eliminated, and Russia’s Tor air defense missile system and ammunition depot were destroyed.

The relevant statement was made by the South Operational Command on Facebook, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

“In the Southern Bug direction, within the operational zone of the Defense Forces in southern Ukraine, the situation is remaining tense but stable and controlled. The enemy is conducting defensive operations and trying to hold the occupied frontiers. With aviation, multiple launch rocket systems, cannon artillery and mortars, the enemy is opening fire on Ukrainian forces all over the contact line,” the report states.

In response to the enemy air attack, Ukrainian air forces launched three strikes on Russian personnel, ammunition and military equipment clusters.

The enemy, trying to improve their positions, made some attempts to breakthrough in different directions. Enemy attacks were repelled, and Russian units suffered losses and retreated. No casualties among Ukrainian defenders were reported.

On October 25, 2022, Russian invaders twice opened fire on peaceful settlements. They used tanks against the Kherson region’s recently liberated village of Tryfonivka and MLRS in order to strike the Nikopol district’s Vyshchetarasivka.

In Tryfonivka, residential houses were damaged, and one civilian was reported injured. In the Nikopol district, information about casualties and destructions is yet to be checked.

In the evening of October 25, 2022, two enemy suicide drones, launched from the Crimean direction, were shot down by the Ukrainian anti-aircraft defense units over the Kherson region.

Ukraine’s missile and artillery units completed 217 fire missions. The enemy’s losses were confirmed as follows: 26 Russian troops, four mortars, one Tor air defense missile system, six armored vehicles and one ammunition depot.

In the Black Sea, Russia’s naval group reduced to nine vessels but got reinforced with a submarine. Hence, three missile carriers equipped with 20 Kalibr-type cruise missiles are remaining combat ready.
