Ukraine confirms another POW swap with Russia
As a result of the latest exchange effort, 10 Ukrainian servicemen were returned from Russian captivity.
Also, the body of American volunteer fighter Joshua Alan Jones was also returned as part of the swap, according to the chief of the President's Office, Andriy Yermak, Ukrinform reports.
"Our guys are home. We completed another POW exchange. We managed to ensure the return of 10 Ukrainian servicemen. Among them there is an officer and nine privates and sergeants," he noted.
The head of the President’s Office also announced that the body of an American volunteer, U.S. Army veteran Joshua Alan Jones, who had fought for Ukraine and died in combat, was handed over.
"I thank the Coordinating Headquarters for the Treatment of Prisoners of War. We will continue to work until we return all our people home," Yermak added.
