Russians strike Dnipropetrovsk region’s Nikopol district with Grad MLRS
Last night Russian troops were continuously shelling the Dnipropetrovsk region’s Nikopol district with the Grad multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS).
The relevant statement was made by Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration Head Valentyn Reznichenko on Telegram, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
“Russians opened fire on three communities: Nikopol, Marhanets and Chervonohryhprivka. People remained unharmed,” Reznichenko wrote.
In his words, dozens of apartment blocks and detached houses were damaged in the city of Nikopol. Power transmission lines were broken.
In the Chervonohryhorivka community, cottage houses and power grids were seriously damaged. About 1,000 households were left without electricity. Power engineers have already started repair works.
In the rest of the Dnipropetrovsk region’s district, air raid alerts were ringing, but no shelling was recorded last night. The situation is calm now.
