Russians shelling Nikopol district from nuclear power plant premises

The invaders are shelling the Nikopol district of Dnipropetrovsk region from the territory of the Zaporizhia NPP, realizing that there will be no return fire.

That’s according to the chief of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Council, Mykola Lukashuk, who delivered the report via Telegram, Ukrinform reports.

"The Russian occupation forces are beasts who resort to vile methods of terror. They are shelling the Nikopol district from the territory of the nuclear power plant in the occupied Enerhodar because they know that there will be no return fire at this facility. After all, the Armed Forces of Ukraine will not expose peaceful Ukrainians to such danger," he wrote.

Lukashuk also assured that there is no doubt that the Ukrainian military will eventually liberate Enerhodar and all the rest temporarily occupied settlements of Ukraine, and that’s when the terror will stop.

Earlier it was reported that the Marhanets community was hit with anti-aircraft missiles. A local pensioner, 73, sustained shrapnel wounds and is currently in the hospital under medical supervision. Half a dozen five-story buildings in the community and eight cars were also damaged by enemy fire.
