Explosions heard on Mariupol–Donetsk road near Volnovakha

Explosions are heard on Mariupol–Donetsk road in the area of the Russian-captured town of Volnovakha near Mariupol which the enemy daily uses to transport military equipment.

"Explosions rocked Volnovakha area. At the same time, the occupation propagandists began lamenting that a civilian Mariupol–Donetsk road was struck. It’s an outright lie. The road from Mariupol to Donetsk is used to transport military equipment daily both from Russia via Novoazovsk–Mariupol and from the Crimean direction," Petro Andriushchenko, adviser to Mariupol mayor, posted on Telegram.

He also noted that the Russian invaders, as always, "calmly park military trucks with ammunition for the night" right in the yards of civilians and published a corresponding photo taken in a village near Mariupol the night before.

"The occupiers continue using Ukrainian civilians as a human shield," the mayor's adviser wrote.

As reported, the Armed Forces of Ukraine eliminated about 72,470 Russian invaders from February 24 to November 1.
