Ukraine’s Air Force downs six Shahed-136 drones overnight
Ukraine’s Air Force shot down six Shahed-136 kamikaze drones used by Russia in an attempted attack on Ukraine from the north-eastern direction overnight.
This was reported by the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, according to Ukrinform.
"At night, three Shahed-136 kamikaze drones were shot down, which attacked Ukraine from the north-eastern direction in the area of responsibility of the Air Command East. Three Shahed-136 were shot down by territorial defense units in Poltava region, three more were shot down by fighter aircraft of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in Dnipropetrovsk region," the report reads.
As Ukrinform reported, on Monday, Ukraine's air defense forces shot down 44 out of more than 50 missiles launched by Russia on energy enterprises in Ukraine. As many as 18 infrastructure objects were damaged across Ukraine.
