Invaders fired over 100 shells and mortars at Sumy region in past 24 hrs
Russian forces have fired more than 100 shells and mortars at Sumy region in the past 24 hours.
Kyrylo Tymoshenko, deputy head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, published a relevant report on Telegram, Ukrinform reports.
"The Russian Federation shelled Sumy region. Over the past day, more than 100 MLRS, artillery and mortar strikes were recorded," Tymoshenko wrote.
According to him, as a result of shelling, two private residential buildings and power lines were damaged. In addition, one person was injured.
Later, it became known that in the evening and morning, the enemy shelled the border communities of Sumy region with mortars and artillery.
Dmytro Zhyvytskyi in a post on Telegram wrote that Russians launched seven attacks on five border communities of the region.
As Ukrinform reported, on October 14, the Cabinet of Ministers allocated UAH 57 million to Sumy region for reconstruction works. The funds will be used to repair infrastructure facilities.
