Ukraine returns 107 warriors in another prisoner swap
Another prisoner swap took place between Ukraine and Russia, and 107 Ukrainian service members, including six officers and Azovstal defenders, returned home.
Head of the Ukrainian President’s Office, Andriy Yermak, wrote this on Telegram, Ukrinform reports.
"Today, we conducted another prisoner swap. We managed to free 107 warriors - 6 officers, 101 privates and a sergeant. These are our guys from Ukraine’s Armed Forces, Naval Forces, Territorial Defense, State Border Guard Service, National Police, State Special Transport Service, National Guard, including three Azov [Regiment] members,” Yermak wrote.
According to the head of the President’s Office, in particular, 74 fighters who defended Azovstal have returned.
Yermak said that some of them as military volunteers reached Mariupol by helicopter to save lives and fight for the city.
As reported, as a result of another prisoner swap conducted last week, Ukraine managed to return 52 people from Russian captivity
