Woman injured in Russia’s shelling of Kharkiv region
Last night Russian troops were shelling the Kharkiv region’s communities. A woman was reported injured.
The relevant statement was made by Mykolaiv Regional Military Administration Head Oleh Syniehubov on Telegram, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
“During the day, the enemy continued shelling the Kharkiv region’s districts, such as Kupiansk, Kharkiv and Chuhuiv, which are adjacent to the contact line and the border with Russia. In Vovchansk, a 58-year-old woman, who had been injured shortly before, requested medical aid,” the report states.
Demining efforts are underway within the liberated areas. Over the past day, the Ukrainian State Emergency Service has neutralized 2,241 explosive items.
Meanwhile, the Ukrainian military continue to effectively fight against Russian occupiers. Enemy units attempted to launch the offensive near the Chuhuiv district’s Zybyne but suffered losses and retreated.
