Enemy shells Beryslav district in Kherson region with heavy artillery

Enemy forces have shelled the Beryslav district in the Kherson region with heavy artillery, with casualties reported.

That’s according to the Kherson regional police, Ukrinform reports.

"The enemy shelled the Beryslav district with heavy artillery. Peaceful villages came under enemy fire. There are victims due to the impact of shells, damaged residential buildings, garages, motor vehicles, cafes, shops, and building of a forestry enterprise," the report said.

A farm and agricultural machinery (a combine harvester, nine tractors, three vehicles, four tractor trailers) were destroyed by shelling. A grain storage hangar was also destroyed.

The Russian military twice struck the village of Novooleksandrivka with mortars. The shelling damaged private houses on four streets, a kindergarten and a lyceum. There are no casualties.

Over the past 24 hours, the police have opened 53 criminal cases over war crimes committed by Russian invaders in the Kherson region.
