Two killed as Russian troops shell village in Kherson region with Grad MLRS
Russian invaders have shelled the village of Hornostaivka in the Kherson region with Grad multiple launch rocket systems, damaging ten houses and killing two civilians.
Yaroslav Yanushevych, the head of the Kherson regional military administration, said this in a statement on Telegram, Ukrinform reports.
"Terrible news from Hornostaivka, Kakhovka district. The Russian occupiers fired on the village with Grad MLRS. These cruel people targeted civilian infrastructure. Two women were killed and about ten houses were damaged by enemy shelling," Yanushevych said.
According to him, the Russians want to induce the residents of Hornostaivka to the so-called "evacuation" using such terrible methods. The Russian military themselves are hiding in the basements of local residents, he said.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said on November 11 that Kherson had returned to Ukraine's control. The head of the regional military administration, the National Police and the SBU State Security Service have already started to work in Kherson city and the Kherson region.
