National Guard members destroy enemy tank, two IFVs in Donetsk region

The special forces of the National Guard of Ukraine have destroyed another convoy of Russian armored vehicles moving towards the positions of Ukrainian defenders.

The relevant statement was made by the Ukrainian Internal Affairs Ministry on Telegram, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

“The special forces of the National Guard of Ukraine continue to destroy the convoys of Russian military vehicles in the Donetsk direction. The enemy attempted to advance as a column with one tank and five infantry fighting vehicles (IFVs). The National Guard members destroyed the tank and two IFVs in combat,” the report states.

The rest of Russian vehicles managed to move away from the line of fire, but the Ukrainian military successfully prevented the enemy’s attempt to launch the offensive.
