Health facilities come under enemy fire in Donetsk region’s Toretsk
Russian troops have shelled a hospital, maternity home and preventative clinic in the Donetsk region’s Toretsk.
The relevant statement was made by Donetsk Regional Military Administration Head Pavlo Kyrylenko on Telegram, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
“A hospital, maternity home and preventative clinic came under enemy fire in Toretsk. Fortunately, no casualties were reported, but the buildings were damaged seriously,” Kyrylenko wrote.
In his words, Russians deliberately target civil infrastructure.
“The enemy wants to make living in the Donetsk region unbearable. For all the crimes, they will be held accountable,” Kyrylenko added.
A reminder that, on November 13, 2022, Russian troops launched a missile strike on the Donetsk region’s Kurakhove, having hit a two-storey house. Two more residential houses and an administrative building located nearby were damaged. One civilian was reported injured.
