Massive missile attack: More than 7 million subscribers without electricity
As a result of Russia’s massive missile attack on Ukraine on November 15, 15 energy facilities were damaged and more than 7 million subscribers were disconnected from the electricity supply.
Kyrylo Tymoshenko, deputy head of the Ukrainian President’s Office, reported this on Telegram, according to Ukrinform.
"We have about 15 energy facilities damaged in various regions. Therefore, there are blackouts in Kyiv, Vinnytsia, Volyn, Donetsk, Dnipropetrovsk, Zhytomyr, Kyiv, Kirovohrad, Lviv, Poltava, Rivne, Sumy, Ternopil, Kharkiv, Khmelnytskyi, Cherkasy, Chernivtsi and Chernihiv regions. In total, more than 7 million subscribers have been disconnected," Tymoshenko said.
He added that the State Emergency Service and power engineers are doing everything possible to restore electricity supply.
