Ukrainian air forces launch six strikes on enemy positions
Over the past day, Ukraine’s Defense Forces have repelled enemy attacks near the Donetsk region’s Spirne, Yakovlivka, Bakhmutske, Bakhmut, Opytne and Klishchiivka, and the Luhansk region’s Bilohorivka.
The relevant statement was made by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Facebook, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
Over the past day, Russian troops have launched two missile strikes on civil infrastructure in the Kherson region’s Kupiansk, and opened fire with multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS) along the contact line about 10 times.
In the Volyn, Polissia and Siverskyi directions, the situation remained rather unchanged. No signs of forming offensive groups were detected.
Belarus continues to support Russia’s armed aggression against Ukraine, providing the aggressor state with its infrastructure, territory and airspace. Russian aircraft operate flights within the airspace of Belarus nearly every day.
“The MiG-31K aircraft, which takes off from the Machulishchy airfield, is a carrier of the Kinzhal hypersonic missiles, capable of hitting targets all over Ukraine. For this reason, we are forced to announce air raid alerts so often across all regions of Ukraine,” the General Staff noted.
In the border areas of Russia’s Bryansk and Kursk regions, the occupiers continue to keep separate units.
In the Slobozhanskyi direction, Russian troops opened fire near the Kharkiv region’s Dvorichna, Ohirtseve, Strilecha, Starytsia and Chaikivka.
In the Kupiansk and Lyman directions, Russian invaders are keeping the defense within the captured frontiers. The enemy used mortars, cannon and rocket artillery to open fire near the Kharkiv region’s Krokhmalne and Tabaivka; the Luhansk region’s Novoselivske, Makiivka, Ploshanka and Nevske; the Donetsk region’s Berestove.
In the Bakhmut, Avdiivka, and Novopavlivka directions, Russian troops are focusing efforts on conducting offensive operations. The enemy used tanks and the whole range of artillery to open fire near the Donetsk region’s Andriivka, Bakhmut, Bakhmutske, Bilohorivka, Verkhniokamianske, Vesele, Vremivka, Vuhledar, Klishchiivka, Maiorsk, Opytne, Rozdolivka, Paraskoviivka, Soledar, Spirne and Yakovlivka.
In the Zaporizhzhia direction, Russian occupiers are defending themselves. The enemy launched artillery strikes near the Zaporizhzhia region’s Vyshchetarasivka, Huliaipole, Dorozhnianka, Zaliznychne, Novopil, Orikhiv and Chervone.
In the Kryvyi Rih and Kherson directions, Russian invaders are keeping positional defense and improving fortification equipment. The enemy used tanks, cannon and rocket artillery to open fire near Antonivka, Veletenske, Novokairy, Novotiahynka, Poniativka, Tokarivka and Kherson.
In the Kakhovka district, Russian occupiers continue looting and robberies. Local residents are deprived of personal cars, motorcycles and even bicycles.
Russian troops continue to suffer losses. In particular, about 100 wounded Russian invaders were brought to the city hospital of the Kherson region’s Skadovsk.
According to the updated information, on November 19, 2022, Ukrainian forces hit enemy personnel clusters. Russian troops lost over 100 soldiers in wounded near the Vasylivka district’s Polohy, Kamianka, Mykhailivka and the Zaporizhzhia region’s Enerhodar. About 20 military equipment units and two ammunition depots were detsroyed.
In addition, a column of Russian military equipment was destroyed near the Luhansk region’s Syrotyne.
