Partners providing first EU humanitarian aid in Kherson
The partners are already providing the first humanitarian aid from the European Union in Kherson, with generators expected to arrive next week.
The Head of the EU Delegation to Ukraine, Matti Maasikas, said this on Twitter, Ukrinform reports.
"The central square of Kherson is turned into a humanitarian hub - water, internet, charging devices. First EU ECHO [Directorate-General for European Civil Protection and Humanitarian Aid Operations] financed humanitarian assistance already delivered by partners. EU's EU4ResilientRegions program, implemented by GIZ GmbH [German Corporation for International Cooperation] will come with generators next week," Maasikas said.
On November 21, Maasikas arrived in Mykolaiv where he met with Regional Governor Vitaliy Kim and Mayor Oleksandr Sienkevych.
