Chamber of Deputies allows Ukrainian military to undergo training in Czech Republic
The Chamber of Deputies of the Parliament of the Czech Republic has allowed the Ukrainian military to undergo training within the country’s territory.
The relevant statement was made by the Czech news agency, České noviny, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
In particular, Members of Parliament approved the stay of Ukrainian soldiers within the Libavá military training area.
Five monthly courses will be organized by the end of 2023, and each of them can be attended by up to 800 servicemen.
According to Czech Defense Minister Jana Černochová, such experience will also be useful to the Army of the Czech Republic. In particular, they will learn about how Russians conduct war, their weak and strong points.
Additionally, the Chamber of Deputies allowed Czech instructors to train the Ukrainian military in other EU countrie, but restricted their number to 55.
The Senate of the Parliament of the Czech Republic is expected to consider this proposal on December 1, 2022.
