Russians have already injured 852 children in Ukraine

Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, Russian troops have killed 440 children in Ukraine and injured 852 more.

"More than 1,292 children have been affected in Ukraine as a result of the full-scale armed aggression of the Russian Federation. As of the morning of November 30, 2022, the official number of children killed did not change – 440. The number of injured children rose to 852," the Prosecutor General's Office posted on Telegram.

The numbers are not final, as efforts are ongoing to establish casualties in the areas of active hostilities, in temporarily captured and liberated territories.

As noted, most children were affected in Donetsk region – 424, Kharkiv region – 266, Kyiv region – 117, Mykolaiv region – 77, Zaporizhzhia region – 76, Kherson region – 70, Chernihiv region – 68, Luhansk region – 64, Dnipropetrovsk region – 33.

In particular, on November 29, a five-year-old boy was injured in a Russian missile attack on the town of Bakhmut, Donetsk region.

The Russian army has already damaged 2,719 educational institutions in Ukraine, completely destroying 332 of them.

As the Prosecutor General's Office reported earlier, 329 children are missing in Ukraine, and more than 12,000 have been deported.
