Podolyak urges Russians to forget about Bakhmut, prepare for Yalta tribunal
Advisor to the Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Mykhailo Podolyak has urged Russians to forget about the Donetsk region’s Bakhmut and make preparations for the Yalta tribunal.
The relevant statement was made by Asvisor to the Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Mykhailo Podolyak on Twitter, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
“Bakhmut. Kremlin eliminates thousands of its conscripted, prisoners, mercenaries and military near the city that has no strategic importance. All to prove themselves: we can still do something! No, you cannot. Forget about Bakhmut. Start preparing for Yalta – the Yalta tribunal,” Podolyak wrote.
A reminder that, between February 24, 2022 and December 3, 2022, Russia’s total combat losses in Ukraine reached about 90,600 troops.
According to the British intelligence, the capture of Bakhmut has become primarily a symbolic, political objective for Russia.
