Ukrainian forces repel enemy attacks near 17 settlements in Luhansk, Donetsk regions
Units of the Defense Forces of Ukraine on Saturday repelled enemy attacks near 17 settlements in the Luhansk and Donetsk regions.
The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine said this in a morning report posted on its Facebook page on Sunday, December 4, according to Ukrinform.
According to the report, Ukrainian forces repelled attacks by invaders outside the settlements of Ploshchanka and Bilohorivka in the Luhansk region and Berestove, Bilohorivka, Yakovlivka, Soledar, Bakhmutske, Bakhmut, Opytne, Klishchiivka, Andriivka, Kurdiumivka, Vodiane, Pervomaiske, Vesele, Marinka and Novomykhailivka in the Donetsk region.
In addition, in the past 24 hours, the enemy launched ten missile strikes, 16 air strikes and more than 30 attacks using multiple launch rocket systems on the positions of the Ukrainian Armed Forces and populated areas along the contact line. Russian missiles hit civilian infrastructure in the settlements of Shevchenkove in the Kharkiv region and Kramatorsk in the Donetsk region.
"During the past 24 hours, the aircraft of the Defense Forces launched 22 strikes on areas of concentration of personnel, weapons and military equipment, as well as three strikes on the positions of the enemy's anti-aircraft missile systems. Ukrainian soldiers also shot down a hostile Su-25 aircraft and an Orlan-10 unmanned aerial vehicle," the report added.
According to the General Staff, units of the Ukrainian rocket forces and artillery hit two command centers, an ammunition depot, three areas of concentration of personnel, weapons and military equipment, as well as an area of concentration of artillery systems.
