Two strategic bombers damaged in explosion at Russia’s Engels air base

Two strategic bombers have been damaged in explosion at Engels Air Force Base in Russia’s Saratov region.

The relevant statement was made by Spokesperson for the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Yurii Ihnat on Facebook, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

“A blast has occurred at Engels air base. They write: two rashist strategic bombers were damaged. Casualties were reported,” Ihnat wrote.

A reminder that, between February 24, 2022 and December 5, 2022, Russia’s total combat losses in Ukraine reached about 91,690 troops.
