Enemy fires about 50 projectiles at Sumy region, Chernihiv region

This morning Russian troops have fired 30 artillery shells at the Sumy region and 17 mortar bombs at the Chernihiv region.

The relevant statement was made by the North Operational Command on Facebook, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

Between 07:30 a.m. and 07:50 a.m., Russians opened fire on the Sumy region’s Manukhivka, presumably with cannon artillery. Thirty explosions were reported.

Between 08:10 a.m. and 08:45 a.m., seventeen more projectiles, presumably launched with 120-mm mortars, hit near the Chernihiv region’s Senkivka.

According to the North Operational Command, no losses were reported among personnel or military equipment. Civilians and civil infrastructure remained unharmed.

A reminder that, between February 24, 2022 and December 5, 2022, Russia’s total combat losses in Ukraine reached about 91,690 troops.
