Air defense forces intercept Russian missile in Kyiv region

Ukrainian air defense forces have shot down a Russian missile in the Kyiv region.

Kyiv regional police chief Andrii Niebytov said this on the Telegram messaging app, Ukrinform reports.

"A hostile missile was shot down over a district of the Kyiv region. We thank the air defense forces for their effective work," he said.

Niebytov urged everyone to "stay in shelters" as "a missile threat continues."

On December 5, the Russians launched another massive attack on Ukrainian infrastructure.
