I believe in our victory: Zaluzhnyi congratulates military on Armed Forces Day

On Armed Forces Day, the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Valeriy Zaluzhnyi, has said he believes in the Ukrainian army and in the victory of the country.

Zaluzhnyi said this on Telegram, Ukrinform reports.

"Dear soldiers, sergeants and officers, employees and veterans of the Armed Forces! I am proud to serve my country side by side with you. Proud to be your Commander-in-Chief in this difficult time. I believe in each of you and in our Victory," he said.

Zaluzhny cordially congratulated everyone on the Day of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

"I wish a speedy recovery to the wounded soldiers! I wish all those who are in the [army] ranks strength and resilience, inspiration and joy, victorious peace!" he said.

The Day of the Armed Forces of Ukraine is marked on December 6 -- the day of the adoption in 1991 of the law "On the Armed Forces of Ukraine."
