Zelensky presents awards to combat medics, wounded soldiers in Kharkiv region
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky as part of a working trip to the Kharkiv region visited a medical facility where wounded Ukrainian defenders are being treated and presented state awards to combat medics.
That's according to the press service of the head of state, Ukrinform reports.
The president met with combat medics at the hospital, congratulated them on Armed Forces Day and handed them state awards, the report said.
"Thank you very much for saving our soldiers, helping our heroes survive. And on this day, I would like to wish good health to the people who support the health of our military. Take care of yourself, because you are protecting Ukraine," Zelensky said.

According to the press service, doctors briefed the president about the condition of the wounded and the course of their treatment.
Zelensky also visited wounded Ukrainian defenders and presented state awards to them.
"It is a great honor to be with you today. Thank you for the heroism with which you defend our state, its independence and territorial integrity, the freedom and life of our people. I wish you a speedy recovery," the head of state said.
December 6 marks the Ukrainian Armed Forces Day — the day of the adoption in 1991 of the law "On the Armed Forces of Ukraine."
