Sumy region’s Znob-Novhorodske community comes under enemy mortar fire

Russian troops have struck the Sumy region’s Znob-Novhorodske community with mortars. Eleven mortar shells exploded on the outskirts of a village.

The relevant statement was made by Sumy Regional Military Administration Head Dmytro Zhyvytskyi on Telegram, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

“Around 02:30 p.m., Russian troops opened fire on the Znob-Novhorodske community with mortars. Eleven mortar shells exploded on the outskirts of a border village,” Zhyvytskyi wrote.

In his words, no enemy shelling was recorded during the rest of the day.
