Russians hit Kupiansk with missiles, damage office building
Russian troops have launched a missile attack on the liberated city of Kupiansk in the Kharkiv region, damaging an office building.
Oleh Syniehubov, the head of the Kharkiv regional military administration, said this in a post on Telegram, Ukrinform reports.
"Today, at around 04:30, the enemy launched a missile attack on Kupiansk. An S-300 missile hit the ground under the foundation of an office building. The wall of the building was destroyed, a car was damaged, and windows were broken. According to preliminary information, there are no casualties," he said.
In addition, according to Syniehubov, on Wednesday, December 7, Russia’s shelling of Kupiansk damaged a residential building and a fire broke out. No casualties were recorded.
He said that fires broke out in the fields following an S-300 missile attack outside the settlement of Pechenihy in the Chuhuiv district.
"We thank our air defense forces. If it weren't for their professional actions, the consequences would have been much greater," Sybiehubov said.
