Zaluzhny discusses situation on the front, need for air defense systems with French colleague
Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valeriy Zaluzhny discussed the situation on the front with French Chief of Defence Staff Thierry Burkhard during a telephone conversation.
"We discussed the situation on the front of the Russian-Ukrainian war. I pointed to the massive use of missiles and drones by the enemy against civilian objects, which undoubtedly makes the issue of strengthening Ukraine's air defense especially relevant," Zaluzhny posted on Facebook.
The Commander-in-Chief thanked his colleague and the French people for their support and security assistance.
As reported, on December 3, during a telephone conversation with Chairman of the U.S. Joint Chiefs of Staff Mark Milley, Zaluzhny shared his assessment of the situation on the front and the security risks posed by Russia's massive missile strikes.
