Deputy Defense Minister Maliar presents awards to Ukrainian defenders in Donetsk region

Deputy Minister of Defense Hanna Maliar has presented awards to the soldiers who are defending Ukraine in Donetsk region

"It was an honor on behalf of Ukraine’s Minister of Defense Oleksiy Reznikov, to award departmental awards to the heroes-defenders who are now defending Ukraine in Donetsk region, who selflessly and heroically perform combat tasks in the most difficult areas of the eastern front, in particular - the Bakhmut, Avdiivka, Maryinka, Lyman directions. Our warriors are our main power, our strength, our main shield in the victorious struggle of the Ukrainian people for freedom, independence and a free life under a peaceful sky," Maliar wrote on Facebook.

She added that the current generation of Ukrainians is now experiencing a historical moment when Ukrainian warriors have the honor of becoming the foundation of a strong, powerful, unbreakable and democratic country that will be respected and valued by the entire civilized world.
