Ukrainian forces hit seven enemy command posts – General Staff
Ukraine’s Defense Forces struck seven command posts and six areas of concentration of personnel of the Russian troops during the current day, December 10.
The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine said this in its evening update as of 18:00, Ukrinform reports.
According to the General Staff, during the current day, the enemy carried out 15 air strikes and more than 15 MLRS attacks.
At night, the enemy attacked the energy infrastructure facilities in Odesa and Mykolaiv regions with Iranian-made Shakhed-136 UAVs. As many as 10 out of 15 UAVs were shot down.
The threat of the enemy missile attacks on the objects of the energy system and critical infrastructure remains throughout the territory of Ukraine.
The Republic of Belarus continues to support the armed aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine, provides infrastructure for the training of enemy units.
In order to counteract numerous cases of desertion in units of the Russia occupation forces in Luhansk region, SMS messages are being sent to subscribers of the Lugacom mobile network with a warning about criminal liability for leaving the places of service and permanent deployment points of military units.
According to the General Staff, the Ukrainians forces struck the area of concentration of Russian personnel in the temporarily occupied territory of Zaporozhzhia region. Up to 150 invaders were injured, 50 of them were taken to the hospital in the city of Melitopol. Information about enemy losses is being clarified.
At the checkpoints around the city of Berdiansk, counter-subversive measures was strengthened, the number of service members of the Russian occupation forces increased. Moreover, checks of civilians are carried out more thoroughly. People without local registration are not allowed into the city.
In the temporarily occupied territory of Donetsk region, in the city of Horlivka, since December 8, the occupation administration calls on representatives of small and medium-sized businesses to work remotely due to the increased risk of shelling allegedly from the Defense Forces. To intimidate local residents, the Russian occupiers fired four 152-mm artillery rounds at the city center.
“During the current day, units of the missile forces and artillery of Ukraine’s Defense Forces hit 7 command posts, 6 areas of concentration of manpower, an artillery cluster and an ammunition depot of the enemy,” the report says.
As reported by Ukrinform, Ukraine’s Defense Forces eliminated about 93,760 Russian troops from February 24 to December 10, including 370 invaders on December 9.
