At least one dead in latest Russian shelling of Kherson

Saturday morning, as the Russian military once again shelled Kherson, a man was killed while driving a car.

Yaroslav Yanushevich, head of Kherson Regional Military Administration, reported the news on Telegram, according to Ukrinform.

"This morning, Russian invaders are shelling Kherson – two were injured," the report says.

It is noted that the enemies are attacking the Korabelny district of Kherson, employing anti-aircraft guns and artillery.

According to the head of administration, a local man, 36, who was in his car at the moment of the strike, was killed on the spot. A woman, 70 was taken to the hospital with an injury. She is currently receiving medical assistance.

As reported by Ukrinform, over the past day, December 16, Russian invaders 27 times shelled Kherson region, killing one and injuring three civilians.

There is no military expediency for the Russians to shell the recently liberated Kherson.
