Following Russia’s recent missile attack, which took place on December 16, 2022, the police have revealed eight impact sites in the Kyiv region, where the enemy projectiles fell, as they were shot down by the Ukrainian anti-aircraft defense units.

The relevant statement was made by Head of the Main Directorate of the National Police of Ukraine in the Kyiv region Andrii Niebytov on Telegram, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

“Eight impact sites have already been revealed and examined by the Kyiv region’s police.  The search for fragments is underway. We thank our anti-aircraft defense units for their effective work and citizens for timely reporting to the police on missile drops,” Niebytov noted.

In his words, in Russia’s recent missile attack, nine detached houses, private property and cars were damaged in such districts as Fastiv, Brovary and Bucha.

Enemy projectiles hit critical infrastructure objects and, thus, some settlements were left without electricity in the Kyiv region. Repair works are underway.
