Kherson region comes under enemy fire 54 times, three civilians killed
Over the past day, Russian troops have opened fire on the Kherson region 54 times. As a result, three civilians were killed and six injured.
The relevant statement was made by Kherson Regional Military Administration Head Yaroslav Yanushevych on Telegram, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
“Over the past day, three civilians have been killed and six received injuries of various severity levels in Russia’s shelling of the Kherson region,” Yanushevych wrote.
In his words, the enemy used artillery, multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS), mortars, tanks and sniper fire.
In particular, Russian troops again struck the residential areas in the city of Kherson. A health facility, detached houses and apartment blocks were hit.
A reminder that, on December 17, 2022, Russian troops attacked eight regions of Ukraine with different weapons.
