Zelensky holds meeting of Supreme Commander-in-Chief’s Staff to discuss situation in Belarus
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has held another meeting of the Staff of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief to discuss the situation in the hottest spots on the battlefield and in Belarus, and progress in recovering after Russia’s recent missile attack.
The relevant statement was made by the Office of the President of Ukraine, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
The Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the commanders of the troops in the operational directions briefed the President of Ukraine on the current situation on the front, giving special attention to the hottest spots.
The participants in the meeting considered the situation in Belarus, heard information about the actual number and ammunition of enemy military units. According to the commanders, Ukraine’s Defense Forces are ready to react to any course of events.
Additionally, the participants discussed progress in the recovery of Ukraine’s energy infrastructure after Russia’s recent missile attack.
The meeting was attended by Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Andriy Yermak, Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council Oleksiy Danilov, Minister of Defense Oleksii Reznikov, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valerii Zaluzhnyi, Chief of the Main Intelligence Directorate Kyrylo Budanov, Head of the Foreign Intelligence Service of Ukraine Oleksandr Lytvynenko, Commander of the Ground Forces Oleksandr Syrsky, and the commanders of the troops in the operational directions.
Minister of Internal Affairs Denys Monastyrskyi, Minister of Foreign Affairs Dmytro Kuleba, Minister of Infrastructure Oleksandr Kubrakov, other members of the Ukrainian government, heads of law enforcement and security agencies were also present at the meeting.
