Russians launch missile strikes on Kharkiv region, industrial object on fire

Last night Russian troops launched missile strikes on the Kharkiv region’s Izium district. As a result, an industrial object caught fire.

The relevant statement was made by Kharkiv Regional Military Administration Head Oleh Syniehubov on Telegram, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

“Around 02:00 a.m., a huge fire broke out in a civil industrial infrastructure facility, following the occupier’s missile strikes on the Izium district. Fortunately, no casualties were reported. Rescuers are working at the scene,” the report states.

In addition, the enemy opened fire on the border settlements in such districts as Kharkiv, Chuhuiv and Kupiansk.

The city of Vovchansk and the Vovchansk community’s settlements (Starytsia, Hatyshche, Vovchanski Khutory) came under extensive fire. According to the preliminary data, civilians remained unharmed.

Russian troops also launched artillery strikes on the city of Kupiansk and neighboring villages. A residential house caught fire in the urban-type settlement of Dvorichna.
