Air defenses activated in Kharkiv region as Russians launch drones, employ MLR systems

In Kharkiv region, the invaders are trying to attack the infrastructure with drones, air defense was working.

Commander of the Kharkiv garrison, Serhiy Melnyk (call sign "Marseille"), reported this on Telegram, according to Ukrinform.

"Many questions about those loud bangs in Kharkiv. I inform you that the so-called explosions in the city are due to our anti-aircraft defenses engaging enemy drones, which the occupier is trying to use to attack our infrastructure," Melnyk said.

Also, according to his report, the enemy MLR systems are shelling Kharkiv region from the territory of Russia’s Belgorod.

"Believe in the Armed Forces," Melnyk added.

As reported earlier, loud blasts were heard in Kharkiv, at around 13:00.

As reported, fire is still being put out at the oil refinery, which was hit by a missile last night, continues in Kharkiv region. The fire has been contained, but the tanks continue to burn, and some explosions are also heard.
