332 children listed as missing in Ukraine since Russian invasion started

A total of 332 children have gone missing in Ukraine since the Russian full-scale invasion started.

The relevant statement was made by the Ukrainian Prosecutor General’s Office on Telegram, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

“According to the Children of War government portal, as of December 21, 2022, 332 children were listed as missing, 8,385 as found,” the report states.

Following the data from juvenile prosecutors, a total of 450 children have been killed and 863 injured in Ukraine since the Russian full-scale invasion started. Thus, a total of 1,313 children in Ukraine were affected by Russian armed aggression.

These data are not final, as they are being investigated within the areas of hostilities, temporarily occupied and liberated areas.

Currently, most casualties were recorded in the Donetsk region (428), Kharkiv region (267), Kyiv region (117), Mykolaiv region (80), Zaporizhzhia region (78), Kherson region (74), Chernihiv region (68), Luhansk region (65) and Dnipropetrovsk region (34).

As a result of Russia’s daily air and artillery strikes, a total of 3,126 educational institutions were damaged across Ukraine, and 337 of them were destroyed completely.
