Poland’s Chief of General Staff visits Irpin, Hostomel
Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Poland Rajmund Andrzejczak, in addition to his meeting with Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valerii Zaluzhnyi in Kyiv, has also visited the Kyiv region’s Irpin and Hostomel.
The relevant statement was made by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Poland on Twitter, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
“During the meeting in Kyiv, the generals also discussed the needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in terms of material and technical support, which is crucial for replenishing Ukrainen’s reserves and maintaining the defense capabilities. The parties also discussed intensified support in terms of military training,” the report states.
Andrzejczak met with the representatives of Irpin authorities and visited the Hostomel air base.
Following his meeting with Zaluzhnyi, Andrzejczak noted that the Ukrainian general is effectively holding back the Russian army.
