Zaluzhnyi presents Cross of Merit badge to Polish ambassador

Polish Ambassador to Ukraine Bartosz Cichocki has received a Cross of Merit badge from the Commander-in-Chief of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

The Polish diplomat posted a photo of the award and words of thanks on Twitter, Ukrinform reports.

"I thank the Commander-in-Chief of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, General Valeriy Zaluzhnyi, for the high award - the more honorable because it was awarded during the visit of the Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Poland, General Rajmund Andrzejczak, to Kyiv," Cichocki wrote.

On December 21, Chief of the General Staff of the Polish Armed Forces, General Rajmund Andrzejczak, visited Ukraine with a group of officers. He met with Commander-in-Chief of the Ukrainian Armed Forces Valeriy Zaluzhnyi and visited Irpin and the airport in Hostomel, where he spoke to the commander of the unit defending the district.
