Ukraine's air defense forces intercept Kh-59 missile over Mykolaiv region last night
Ukraine's air defense forces have shot down over the Mykolaiv region a Kh-59MK2 guided air missile launched by a Russian fighter jet from the Black Sea.
Ukraine's Air Command South said this in a post on Facebook, Ukrinform reports.
"At night, on December 22, in the Mykolaiv region, the air defense forces and means of the Air Command South detected and shot down a Kh-59MK2 air-to-surface guided missile launched by a Russian Su-35 multi-purpose fighter from the Black Sea," the report said.
Earlier reports said that on the night of December 22, in the Mykolaiv region, Russian troops launched a rocket attack on a settlement in the Ochakiv community.
