Sumy region comes under enemy fire 45 times

Over the past day, Russian troops have attacked two border communities in the Sumy region 45 times. A first-aid station was reported damaged in one of villages.

The relevant statement was made by Sumy Regional Military Administration Head Dmytro Zhyvytskyi on Facebook, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

In particular, the enemy struck the Krasnopillia community and the Easman community.

Seven mortar shells exploded in the Krasnopillia community’s border areas. Later, Russians dropped an explosive item from a quadcopter.

In the Esman community’s border areas, the enemy used artillery. Twenty explosions were recorded.

Additionally, Russians opened fire with machine guns 12 times and with small arms five times.

According to Zhyvytskyi, explosions caused damage to a rural first-aid station. The windows were blown out, and the roof damaged.
