Reznikov on shelling of Kherson: Ukraine will be able to prevent tragedies when it receives more weapons

The barbaric shelling of Kherson is revenge on Ukrainians who fiercely resisted the invaders. Ukraine will be able to prevent such tragedies when it receives more long-range artillery and ammunition from partners.

“Barbaric shelling of Kherson by russian terrorists is not only another war crime, but also revenge on its residents who resisted the occupation and proved to the whole world that Kherson is Ukraine. Ukraine will be able to prevent such tragedies if it has more means of counter-battery warfare, more artillery and more long-range ammunition. Thus, russian murderers will be punished and driven out from Ukraine,” Minister of Defense of Ukraine Oleksii Reznikov posted on Twitter.

As reported, on the morning of December 24, Russian troops shelled Kherson city center. Yaroslav Yanushevych, Head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration, said that 10 civilians were killed and 55 more were injured in the attack.
