Ukrainian forces hit four enemy command posts, S-300 system
Ukrainian rocket and artillery forces on December 24 hit four command posts of the Russian troops, three military personnel concentration areas and an S-300 anti-aircraft missile system.
The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine said this in a post on Facebook, Ukrinform reports.
"Throughout the past day, the enemy launched five missile and air strikes. It also carried out more than 90 attacks using multiple rocket launchers, in particular, on civilian targets in Kherson, killing civilians," the report said.
The enemy is concentrating its efforts on conducting assault operations in the Lyman, Bakhmut, and Avdiivka directions. Russian forces are also attempting to improve their tactical position in the Kupiansk area.
According to the report, Ukraine's Defense Forces repelled enemy attacks outside the settlements of Lyman Pershyi in the Kharkiv region, Stelmakhivka, Novoselivske, Ploshchanka, Chervonopivka in the Luhansk region and Yakovlivka, Soledar, Bakhmutske, Bakhmut, Klishchiivka, Kurdiumivka, Pivnichne, Krasnohorivka, Vesele and Marinka in the Donetsk region
According to the General Staff, the Russian occupiers continue "to strengthen regime and administrative measures in the temporarily occupied territories of the Zaporizhzhia region." In Vasylivka, they introduced a curfew from December 28 to January 4, 2023. Emergency services workers are issued special passes, while other local residents are prohibited from leaving their homes and moving around the settlement.
"During the past 24 hours, our aircraft carried out four strikes on areas where the invaders were stationed. Units of the rocket forces and artillery of the Defense Forces of Ukraine hit four command posts, three enemy personnel concentration areas, an S-300 anti-aircraft missile system and three more important objects of the occupiers," the General Staff added.
Ukraine's Defense Forces eliminated about 101,430 Russian invaders from February 24 to December 24.
