Russian troops shelling Donetsk region since night. Hospital in Avdiivka damaged

At night and in the morning on Sunday, the Russians continued shelling Donetsk region. A hospital was damaged in Avdiivka.

“In Volnovakha direction, Vuhledar town and its outskirts came under enemy fire again. Nobody was injured. No casualties were reported in Donetsk direction either. At night, shelling of Marinka community continued: Maksymilyanivka town council was damaged, and airstrikes on Marinka and Krasnohorivka were recorded. In the morning, Orlivka in Ocheretyne community and Avdiivka came under fire. A hospital was damaged,” Pavlo Kyrylenko, Head of the Donetsk Regional Military Administration, posted on Telegram.

In Horlivka direction, Predtechyne in Kostiantynivka community was struck with rockets. One person was injured, four houses were damaged. In Bakhmut, five civilians were injured, one house was damaged.

"In Lysychansk direction, the shelling of Torske and Zarichne in Lyman community does not stop. This time, there were no casualties," the Donetsk region governor wrote.

Later, the police added that the enemy had launched seven strikes on Avdiivka. Bakhmut, Chasiv Yar, Velyska Novosilka, Berdychi, Stepove, Maksymilyanivka, Vremivka, and Predtechyne were also hit.

The Russians were shelling the civilian population using Grad and Uragan MLRS, artillery, and mortars. Thirteen residential buildings were damaged.

The Russian military hit the village of Predtechyne with Uragan MLRS, targeting private houses and injuring a civilian.

As a result of artillery shelling, people were injured in Bakhmut and Maksymilyanivka.

The police and the Security Service of Ukraine opened criminal proceedings under Article 438 (violation of the laws and customs of war) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.

Russian troops and the Wagner PMC have been assaulting unsuccessfully the town of Bakhmut in Donetsk region for five months. Avdiivka direction is also considered one of the hottest areas.
