Ukrainian forces strike nine Russian command posts
The Russian army launched an air strike, five missile strikes and carried out more than 40 attacks using multiple launch rocket systems on Sunday, December 25, with Ukrainian rocket and artillery forces hitting nine enemy command posts, two military personnel concentration areas and two other important targets.
The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine said this in a post on Facebook, Ukrinform reports.
"Units of the Defense Forces of Ukraine repelled the attacks of the occupiers outside the settlements of Novoselivske, Stelmakhivka, Ploshchanka, Nevske and Chervonopivka in the Luhansk region, as well as Vesele, Yakovlivka, Soledar, Bakhmutske, Pidhorodne, Bakhmut, Kurdiumivka, Maiorsk, Vodiane, Krasnohorivka, and Marinka in the Donetsk region," the report said.
The enemy continues to suffer losses. In the city of Starobilsk, Luhansk region, out 50 seriously wounded Russian soldiers have recently been delivered to a military hospital set up by the occupiers. In the city of Horlivka, Donetsk region, due to the shortage of donor blood, all employees of medical institutions were obliged to donate blood according to the established schedule.
Aircraft of the Defense Forces of Ukraine struck five Russian military personnel and equipment concentration areas in the past 24 hours.
Earlier reports said that the Defense Forces of Ukraine eliminated about 102,050 Russian invaders from February 24 to December 25, including 620 on December 24.
