USA, other partners to repair and defend Ukraine’s energy infrastructure – Blinken

The United States will work with the G7 and other partners to repair, replace, and defend Ukraine’s energy infrastructure this winter.

The relevant statement was made by U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken on Twitter, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

“We will stand with Ukraine for as long as it takes. A tough winter lies ahead for Ukrainians, and we will work tirelessly with the G7 and other partners to repair, replace, and defend Ukraine’s energy infrastructure,” Blinken wrote.

Additionally, Blinken attached President Joseph Biden’s statement, following his meeting with President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky in Washington: “Together, the United States and Ukraine will keep the flame of liberty burning bright.”
