Russians launch artillery, mortar strikes on three communities in Sumy region

Russian troops have been shelling three communities in the Sumy region over the past day.

The relevant statement was made by Sumy Regional Military Administration Head Dmytro Zhyvytskyi on Telegram, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

In particular, the enemy used small arms at the border to open fire on the Seredyna-Buda community.

Additionally, Russian invaders fired 10 mortar shells at the Shalyhyne community.

The enemy also struck the Esman community with artillery. Three explosions were recorded. One of Russian projectiles hit a residential house. Fortunately, civilians were hiding in a bomb shelter.

A reminder that, on December 26, 2022, Russian troops opened fire on the Sumy region’s Seredyna-Buda community with self-propelled artillery.
