Russians shell Kherson region 81 times in past day

On Thursday, December 29, the Russian military shelled the territory of Kherson region 81 times.

That’s according to Yaroslav Yanushevych, head of the regional military administration, who reported the news on Telegram, Ukrinform saw.

"Russian occupiers shelled the territory of Kherson region 81 times. The enemy fired at peaceful settlements across the region, employing artillery, MLR systems, and mortars," Yanushevych said.

According to the official, the city of Kherson was attacked 27 times. Enemy shells hit a local store, critical infrastructure facilities, industrial enterprises, as well as a number of houses and apartment blocks.

As a result of the shelling, a civilian was injured.

As reported earlier, the Russians fired at the Kherson Regional Cardiac Clinic, injuring two.
